Hey little guy,you have the best parents in the world! And quess what—-you look just like your Grandpa Jesse III. So I guess your place now is just to keep your parents awake for hours and hours. That’s perfect. Just like you are!

Thanks mom!!!
He is keeping us up at night, Justine more than myself. Last night he was a bear, don’t know if it was gas or just being over-tired. Justine took him shopping yesterday, he slept the whole time so we don’t think he was tired.
I wish Great-Grandpa and Great-Grandma Hamrick were still alive to see him…
Love you Mom.

I’m a little late to the party, but congratulations! I’m the original J.N. Hamrick’s granddaughter, daughter of his son James. Just wanted to say, “hi,” and also let you know that “Jesse James Nixon” may be even more appropriate than you know. Jesse Nixon Hamrick, Sr. was originally going to be named “Jesse James Hamrick,” but his mother, Savannah, shied away from the name, because of the outlaw, Jesse James, and he ended up being named after a dear friend of the family, Van Nixon. I have a copy of the transcription of J.N., Sr.’s memoirs. If you get in touch, I can make a copy and send it to y’all.
Sincerely,
Barbara
