I'm the original J.N. Hamrick's granddaughter, daughter of his son James. Just wanted to say, "hi," and also let you know that "Jesse James Nixon" may be even more appropriate than you know. Jesse Nixon Hamrick, Sr. was originally going to be named "Jesse James Hamrick," but his mother, Savannah, shied away from the name, because of the outlaw, Jesse James, and he ended up being named after a dear friend of the family, Van Nixon.
